Argumentation: My country ‘Tis of Thee
During the mid 20th century, being one of the most important African-American activists and co-founding the NAACP, and supporting Pan-Africanism, W.E.B DuBois had many philosophies. One of the many, happened to be the manifestation of being humble, especially when one is put in a fatal situation and lastly remaining true to oneself. As humans, people go through many phases of emotion like frustration for situations that can be quite irritating and exhausting. For instance, other individuals think you did something bad when in reality you didn’t, yet no one believes you. Sometimes things don’t go the way things are supposed to go or be handled. There will be situations where certain people are allowed to get away with things, you don’t always win and most absolutely don’t get to be heard.
